Dee and Amar's Story
We are Dee and Amar, the social media and creative marketing specialists behind Comm Connectx. Let us tell you a story.
We met online in 2001. We started a dating online trend called #digitallove. It was based on the belief that every heart has a story to tell.
The two of us have more than 20 years of combined professional experience in communication and marketing. Consulting and education come naturally to both of us, and we really enjoy it. Interestingly, Dee was her own wedding planner in another country with more than 1,000 people in attendance.
Soon after our marriage, whilst we were starting our new life together in New Zealand, we decided to start a business focused on providing high-quality consulting services and solutions. Back then, our roster of clients included merely our friends and family.
Unexpectedly, we kept receiving requests from people for help with their social media and digital marketing. People we met added to our extended community, and we genuinely felt we could assist them in growing their business.
Having decided that this was the right direction and industry for us, we took our business to new heights. In 2006, we put our expertise to the test when we offered services in the fields of retail, social media, digital content, event marketing, and more.
Today, we are proudly serving small businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and senior business executives, amongst other clients, in Auckland and select areas in New Zealand.
